The focus of this session is on problem-solving. Using non-routine problems from the Math Olympiad program, the value of generating numerous strategies to "get to X" will be explored. Students think in different ways, and "Dynamic Group Presentations" celebrates their diverse thought processes. Even students who solved a problem incorrectly become successful, active patricipants in this review strategy. Handouts include detailed tips for fostering curiosity, lateral thinking, and innovative teaching presentation technques in the math classroom.
